  • Laser ablation

    Under local anesthesia, and after identifying the saphenous vein with ultrasound, a tiny laser fiber is advanced from an area near the knee up to the upper thigh.  The laser is activated as the fiber is slowly withdrawn, closing the incompetent vein as the laser fiber is pulled out.  The entire procedure takes about an hour, and patients go home afterwards virtually pain free.

  • sclerotherapy

    Using very tiny needles, a liquid or foam solution is injected into the reticular veins that feed the spider veins.  This is virtually painless with excellent long term results.

  • laser therapy of spider veins

    Using the laser to collapse very fine spider veins on any area of the body is a simple procedure using the Dornier laser system.  For sensitive areas, a topical anesthetic is used, and  this  is often combined with the injection sclerotherapy for optimal outcomes.

  • VASCULAR ULTRASOUND

    We use a state-of-the-art Terason Ultrasound to fully evaluate and examine the veins in our patients.  Our experienced ultrasound technologists perform gentle and professional studies to help guide our treatment decisions.

  • SUPPORT HOSE

    Compression stockings can be a significant part of your treatment and recovery.  We offer reduced rates on stockings that we custom fit for you in our office.

  • Face, arms, trunk and other areas

    While most of our patients have lower extremity vein problems, we also treat any other area of the body where vascular abnormalities occur.  Small hemangiomas, linear facial veins (around the nose) and red berry spots are but some of the additional treatments that we provide for our patients.
